✈️ Air Export Manager – Freight Forwarding

📍 Location: Herndon, VA (near Dulles Airport)

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site (5 days/week)

💲 Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000 + Bonus (based on branch performance)

We’re seeking an experienced Air Export Manager to lead a dynamic freight forwarding team at a high-performing branch near Dulles Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and has a strong background in air freight export operations and team leadership.

🚀 What You'll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day air export operations , ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective shipment handling
• Ensure accuracy in documentation, routing, and customer service across the team
• Maintain a deep understanding of TSA regulations, AES filings , and international air cargo compliance
• Manage vendor and airline relationships to support service quality and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with branch and regional leadership on performance goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement
• Participate in planning and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational enhancements

✅ What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in air export freight forwarding , with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
• Strong working knowledge of IATA, TSA, and air cargo compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office Suite
