Located on the beautiful south end of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Arrowstone is a vibrant 222-unit community where our team is passionate about delivering top-tier service and keeping our property in excellent shape.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate brings experience in apartment maintenance and holds relevant certifications like CPO and HVAC (Type I & II or Universal). But most importantly, you’re a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete day-to-day repairs and ensure the community looks its best
• Maintain pool facilities including balancing chemicals, cleaning, and necessary repairs
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with attention to detail and efficiency
• Address maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Effectively communicate with residents and other staff regarding the work being completed and any pending work needing to be scheduled at a later date
• Maintain organized inventory of supplies and tools
• Report and resolve any unusual circumstances on the property
• Always present yourself professionally in uniform and proper attire
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
• Participate in our on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
• Secure maintenance areas and vacant units at the end of each workday
• Assist with landscaping tasks including snow and ice removal
• Respond promptly to lock-outs and service requests

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least 1 year of maintenance or handyman experience
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall
• Proficiency in appliance repairs
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with smartphones and digital work order apps
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of your work

Physical & Practical Requirements:

• Ability to operate a variety of tools (both hand and power tools)
• Able to follow detailed written or verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments
