Job Description

Newell Corporation is currently hiring a 1st Shift Assembly & Deburr Technician to join our growing team in Arlington, WA.

As an Assembly & Deburr Technician at Newell Corp, you will be responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from manufactured components and assembling products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Assembly and Deburr Technician Responsibilities:

• Removing sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from machined or manufactured parts using various tools like files, grinders, and polishing equipment.
• Inspecting parts using measuring tools and visual inspection to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Operating deburring machines, hand tools, and other equipment to achieve desired results.
• Preparing parts for further processes like plating or finishing.
• Keeping records of production, maintenance, and inspections.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety procedures, and performing basic maintenance on equipment.
• Interacting with other team members, engineering, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflows.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience or training in manufacturing, machining, assembly, or deburring.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use power tools and hand tools, and lift and move parts weighing up to 40 pounds.

Work Schedule (4-10’s):

Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $20/hr - $28/hr

Benefits include medical/dental/vision (95% of premium costs paid by Newell), 401k with up to 5% employer match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
