Family Law Attorney – Join Our Growing Firm - Hybrid with three locations

Must have a license to practice Family Law in Massachusetts and 2+ years of hands-on experience in divorce and family law to be considered for this position

Our fast-growing law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney who is fiercely passionate about helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives. We’re looking for someone who thrives in and out of the courtroom, brings compassion to clients, and delivers results with skill and integrity.

Compensation:

$110,000 - $205,000+

Responsibilities:
  • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
  • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
  • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings
  • Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
  • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
  • Represent clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and modifications
  • Draft and negotiate prenuptial agreements, parenting plans, and settlement agreements
  • Handle sensitive matters such as domestic violence, child abuse, and high-conflict custody cases
  • Manage cases from intake through resolution, whether by negotiation, mediation, or trial
  • Collaborate with a strong team of paralegals, assistants, and intake staff so you can focus on high-value legal work

Qualifications:
  • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
  • Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background
  • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants
  • Licensed Massachusetts Family Law Attorney with 2+ years of hands-on experience in divorce and family law
  • Strong courtroom presence with proven  litigation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to  independently manage cases from intake through final judgment
  • Confident communicator who can counsel clients effectively under pressure
  • Organized, reliable, and committed to providing strategic and compassionate representation

Bonus Points If You:

  • Experience handling  real estate issues within divorce matters (marital home division, buyouts, etc.)
  • Familiarity with  Clio, Lawmatics, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • New Hampshire bar license
  • Comfortable with tech and remote collaboration tools
  • A referral network or book of business
