OJI Surgical, Inc. / Medex Surgical is a distributor of medical devices with a focus in orthopedics and plastic surgery. The NW division of Medex Surgical covers all of Oregon and the SW portion of Washington.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Sales Representative located in Eugene, OR. The territory that is this position is supporting directly is from Salem to Eugene and all the surrounding area. The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales team, generating new sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and managing sales processes. Tasks include conducting client meetings, product demonstrations, follow-ups, and closing sales. The role requires effective communication, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets. Additionally, the Associate Sales Representative will collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and meet sales targets. Supporting the logistics of the sales team and the surgeries we cover is a major part of this role and it entails driving throughout the territory on a regular basis.

This is an in-person role that will come with a lot of face to face interaction with customers. You will be spending time in hospitals, in the operating room and around everything that comes with that. There is a long course of training that will prepare you for these situations but it is a big part of the job and anyone succeeding in this role will be excited to be involved in the surgeries that we support.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, including generating leads and closing deals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct product demonstrations and client presentations
• Organizational skills and proficiency in managing sales processes
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
• Motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in approach
• Experience in the medical or surgical field is a plus
