About the Job
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans. This role ensures that benefits are administered effectively and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Benefits Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues and supports the HR team in optimizing benefits administration processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Serve as the main contact for employees regarding benefits questions and issues. Provide clear and accurate information on benefits options, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.
- Facilitate tailored benefits orientation for foreign-trained healthcare professionals, covering available benefits, enrollment processes, and compliance with local regulations, while addressing unique concerns related to transitioning into the U.S. healthcare system.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and auditing purposes.
- Act as liaison between the organization and benefits vendors, including health insurance carriers, retirement plan providers, and wellness program administrators. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors.
- Coordinate and execute open enrollment periods, including preparing communication materials, conducting informational sessions, and assisting employees with plan selections.
- Update and manage benefits information in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
- Continuously review and enhance benefits administration processes to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with the HR team to integrate benefits education into broader employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Provide training and support to HR colleagues on benefits administration and compliance matters, fostering a well-informed team.
- Monitor and report on benefits utilization and effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned to support the HR department and overall business objectives.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
- Familiarity with benefits-related regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
- Starting at $27/Hr plus 10% Bonus
- Weekly Pay
