We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL CLASS A FLATBED DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including flatbeds and dry vans. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
CDL CLASS A FLATBED DRIVER Responsibilities
Operate trucks, including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and dry van trailer units, to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations while on the road.
Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
