Chef de Cuisine – Pan-Asian Concept

Full-Time | Net Salary: $5,500 USD/month + Benefits

A world-class luxury resort in the Caribbean is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead the opening and day-to-day operations of a newly constructed, high-concept Pan-Asian restaurant. This dinner-only venue will feature a $3.6M state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with wok stations, robata grills, noodle counters, steamers, and more.

This is a modern Pan-Asian dining experience — bold, clean, and intentional. From delicate sushi and dim sum to Southeast Asian spice and technique-driven execution, every dish is rooted in authenticity and elevated with purpose. The focus is not fusion for the sake of it, but a thoughtful expression of refined Asian cuisine.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a confident, creative chef with a deep understanding of Pan-Asian flavors and fine dining execution. You thrive in high-expectation, dinner-only environments and bring a balance of leadership and culinary precision.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in upscale Pan-Asian restaurants
• Strong foundation in Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Southeast Asian cuisines
• Passionate about premium ingredients, smart sourcing, and elegant presentation
• Skilled at leading high-performing culinary teams with a hands-on, mentorship-driven approach
• Comfortable working in luxury, destination dining environments
• Energized by new concepts, high standards, and creative challenges

Compensation & Benefits

• Net Salary: $5,500 USD/month
• Housing Allowance: $1,400 USD/month
• Transportation Allowance: $700 USD/month
• Annual flight home
• Medical insurance provided
