Civil Engineer (PE) – Project Manager / Future Team Lead

Clinton Township, MI (Primarily In-Office)

We’re a well-established civil engineering company with deep roots in Southeast Michigan. Our Clinton Township office is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to help lead that growth.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all phases of private land development projects — commercial sites, subdivisions, assisted living facilities, and more.
• Lead design efforts for grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and roadways.
• Review plans, ensure quality standards, and guide projects through permitting and agency approvals.
• Serve as the main client contact, building strong long-term relationships.
• Mentor a small team of engineers and designers — helping them grow while managing workload and deadlines.
• Collaborate directly with ownership on project planning, budgeting, and business development.

What You’ll Bring

• Active Michigan PE license (required)
• 5+ years of civil/site design and project management experience (10+ ideal)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of site development standards, stormwater management, and utilities
• A desire to lead, mentor, and make an impact within a close-knit, family-oriented firm
