Job Description
Blize Healthcare is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide to join our team. You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility in San Francisco County.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Helping patients care for themselves by teaching them the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, and special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
- Recording patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.
- Enabling patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.
- Provide specialized healthcare such as administering medication and changing bandages.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Positive and patient demeanor.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Experience in home health or hospice is recommended.
