Manager, Trade Operations – Specialty Pharma

A fast-growing, US-based specialty pharma organization is seeking a Manager, Trade Operations to join its expanding team in Jersey City, NJ.

This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented and analytical trade operations expert with experience working across Specialty Distributors, Pharmacies, and 3PLs.

You will play a pivotal part in ensuring that life-changing therapies reach the patients who need them most—efficiently, compliantly, and with excellence.

What You Will Do:

• Manage day-to-day trade operations including order processing, inventory monitoring, returns, and chargebacks.
• Be the central point of contact for Specialty Distributors, 3PLs, and internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with trade partners and oversee service performance.
• Lead QBRs and collaborate cross-functionally with finance, quality, IT, commercial ops, and patient support.
• Analyze complex trade datasets (867, 852, 844), generate actionable insights, and report to key stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve trade operations issues, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical Trade Operations, Specialty Distribution, or related vendor management.
• Deep understanding of 3PL, specialty pharmacy relationships, and trade data.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management and analytical abilities; experience with data aggregators (IntegraChain, ZS) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.
