Job Description

We are seeking a Communications Coordinator 3 to join our Global Communications team. This role will act as the primary conduit between Global Communications and Global Sports Marketing, focusing on Running, Global Football, and the Olympics . You will transform athlete insights and sport moments into impactful internal and external storytelling, strengthening the company’s voice across audiences.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a key link between Global Communications and Sports Marketing, ensuring athlete insights become compelling communications strategies.
• Build and execute integrated communications plans that highlight sport moments and athlete partnerships.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Business Affairs, Legal, and external partners to ensure alignment.
• Proactively surface storytelling opportunities tied to athlete achievements and global events.
• Develop reactive statements and issue mitigation strategies in collaboration with Comms leadership.
• Represent the company at sport moments and athlete events, managing interviews and providing real-time support.
• Contribute to team excellence by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior team members, and driving collaboration.

• Global Sports Marketing (Olympic, Basketball, Training, Golf & Tennis)
• Brand Marketing, Global Strategy, Legal, HR, and Business Affairs
• External athlete representatives and agencies
• Senior leadership across Communications and Sports Marketing

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, brand storytelling, or sports marketing (global brand/agency experience preferred).
• Strong writing and message development skills with ability to simplify complex topics.
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and solve problems independently.
• Excellent collaboration skills in a highly matrixed environment.
• Knowledge and passion for sport—especially Running, Global Football, and Olympic competition.
• Experience with Keynote, Word, Excel.
