UrbanBuilt , a Mid-Atlantic General Contracting company headquartered in the Baltimore metro area, is looking to recruit a new Project Manager. As a general contracting company, we specialize in residential and commercial renovations and new construction. In the past few years, we have experienced tremendous growth and are looking to keep the momentum going. Position Summary : To successfully plan, staff, implement, control and evaluate residential and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor and Vendor Buyout
• Preparing and updating Project Schedules
• Preparation and tracking of submittals
• Attend and lead project progress meetings
• Prepare and disseminate weekly project progress reports
• Work with clients on production progress, open issues, change orders, and materials selections
• Preparation and tracking of Change Orders (Client and Subcontract)
• Assist in oversight of company Safety Program
• Assist in oversight of project quality control
• Maintain control and oversight of project budgets

Position Skills/Qualification Requirements:

• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferably in construction management or a business concentration .
• Must have 5-7 years experience in construction project supervision and/or management for commercial and residential projects above $250,000 in value.
• Must be able to manage a team, work well with others, and adhere to management directives.
• Strong skills in organizing, planning, and implementing project controls to meet strict deadlines.
• Must have strong communication skills including speaking and writing professionally.
• Must have strong computer skills and able to use all programs in Microsoft Office.
