Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations on multiple job sites. This role will ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in alignment with our high standards of quality. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on experience in both general construction and restoration, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Supervise all on-site activities for restoration and renovation projects.
● Manage subcontractors, fi eld crews, and project schedules to ensure timely and quality execution.
● Conduct daily site walks, quality control checks, and resolve fi eld issues as they arise.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant job site; observe all safety policies and ensure proper safety equipment is in use.
● Confirm that all crews are properly dispatched with required PPE and safety gear.
● Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Operations teams to execute project plans.
● Monitor and enforce scope, plans, specifications, and client expectations.
● Communicate clearly and regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
● Maintain site documentation, including daily logs, photos, and reports.
● Participate in subcontractor and trade coordination meetings.
● Track material deliveries and inspect for accuracy and quality.
● Support the handoff and close-out process, including punch lists and final inspections.
● Lead by example with a positive attitude, strong customer service, and effective delegation of tasks.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or fi eld management, preferably in commercial renovation or restoration.
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
● Deep knowledge of construction industry processes, methods, and materials.
● General knowledge of construction trades including carpentry, painting, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
● Strong communication skills — verbal, written, nonverbal, and visual.
● Ability to both perform and delegate work effectively.
● Leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams to perform at their best.
● Strong customer service mindset with professional interpersonal skills.
● A proactive and positive attitude, especially when handling challenges or working under pressure.
● Committed to maintaining job site safety and regulatory compliance.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
● IICRC or other construction-related certifications are a bonus.
Working Conditions
● The job requires frequent travel to job sites across the Charlotte metro area.
● Must be able to walk, stand, lift, and move around active construction sites.
● Some weekend and evening availability may be required depending on project needs.
