Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in Chicago, IL . The ideal candidate will bring 7 or more years of full-cycle medical recruitment experience , with a strong track record of placing top-tier clinical and non-clinical professionals in dynamic healthcare environments. This role will focus on proactively sourcing, engaging, and hiring qualified candidates across a range of departments including nursing, allied health, physicians, and healthcare administration.

The Corporate Healthcare Recruiter will serve as a strategic partner to hiring leaders, ensuring staffing goals are met with efficiency, compliance, and a strong emphasis on candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions, from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to understand workforce planning needs and prioritize requisitions.
  • Develop and execute customized sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and healthcare-specific platforms.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet both technical qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interview processes with internal stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state hiring regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.), and internal HR policies.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, candidate experience scores, source of hire, etc.) and report on performance.
  • Promote the organization's employer brand within the healthcare community.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment, and healthcare networking events as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare recruitment , including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for clinical roles (e.g., RNs, LPNs, allied health professionals, physicians).
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry trends, credentialing, and licensure requirements.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems; experience with Workday, iCIMS, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
