We are currently seeking a skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process. Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plan.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on anesthesia practices.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia administration.

Requirements:

• Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
• Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
• Proven experience working as a CRNA in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3p

Call Requirement: 1 day per week, 12 weekends per year

Case Types: General, urology, gynecology, OB, GI, ENT

Will do own blocks, will place and manage epidurals for OB

4 ORs, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 c-section suite

Supervision: MD onsite, combination of supervised and independent cases

Support Staff: 2 MDs and 1 CRNA per day

EMR: Paragon

Must be board-certified
