Director of Nursing (RN) – Home Care Agency
Location: Columbus, Ohio

HealthCare Recruiters International is recruiting for a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations for home care and work for a mission-driven organization with a supportive leadership team that values innovation and integrity.
DON Requirements & Qualifications
Unqualified candidates will not be considered
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio
- 3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role in home care
- Experience with Ohio Medicaid (ODM) and DODD regulations
- Strong understanding of compliance, surveys, and audits
- Proven team management and operational oversight skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure regulatory compliance (ODM, DODD)
- Lead and mentor nursing/support staff
- Prepare for and manage state and Joint Commission surveys/audits
- Develop protocols and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Liaise with state agencies and regulatory bodies
- Support ongoing staff training and performance development
- Promote client-centered care focused on safety, dignity, and independence
