Job description:

Walker Process Equipment (WPE) has led the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry in the engineering and manufacture of the highest quality equipment since 1946. WPE offers proven technologies for water and wastewater treatment including biological and anaerobic treatment, wastewater clarification, digestion, separation and sludge treatment.

WPE is looking for a mid-level full-time drafter meeting the following criteria:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Drafts layout, approval and fabrication drawings using appropriate symbols and drafting standards.
• Creates bills of material.
• Independently produces drawings when provided with reference materials and moderate supervision.
• Occasionally instructs lower-level drafters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid work ethic
• Minimum four years drafting experience
• Technically oriented and familiar with the manufacture of heavy mechanical and structural equipment
• Capable of reading and fully understanding construction and fabrication drawings
• Multi-tasking
• 2D CAD experience – MicroStation preferred
• 3D Parametric Modelling experience – SolidWorks preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus

PAY: $24.50 to 29.00 per hour
