Job Title: E-Commerce Specialist

Location: Calexico, CA , 506 Fourth Street, Calexico, CA

Organization: Calexico Neighborhood House, Non-Profit Organization

Position Summary:

Calexico Neighborhood House is seeking an innovative and motivated E-Commerce Specialist to develop, manage, and grow our online sales platforms. This role will support our mission to enhance community services by generating new revenue streams through online sales, including our thrift store and special product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and social enterprise strategies tailored for nonprofit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage online sales platforms (e.g., Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, eBay).
  • Create and optimize product listings with compelling descriptions and high-quality images.
  • Implement strategies to drive online traffic and increase sales through SEO and digital marketing campaigns (email marketing, social media ads, Google Ads).
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate fulfillment logistics.
  • Track and analyze website performance and sales data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with program staff to identify products and services that support the organization’s mission.
  • Provide monthly performance reports to leadership, including sales growth, traffic analysis, and marketing campaign results.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends and tools to recommend improvements and new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in platforms like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Etsy, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising tools.
  • Excellent writing and content creation skills for product descriptions and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for nonprofit work and social enterprise initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience working with nonprofits or social enterprises.
  • Graphic design or product photography skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 annually (DOE)
