Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Perform functional acceptance testing of electronic circuit boards and power electronic assemblies
• Fabricate and assemble test equipment, including custom test boxes, harnesses, fixtures, and jigs for production and R&D use
• Operate electronic lab equipment: multimeters, power analyzers, and regulated power supplies
• Diagnose/troubleshoot functional failures in circuit boards/electronic units; document findings, support root cause analysis
• Perform component-level rework and repair: soldering/de-soldering of surface mount and through-hole electronic components
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer datasheets to support testing and troubleshooting
• Assist with development and validation testing of aerospace-grade electronic products, including high-voltage applications
• Accurately record test results, repair actions, and part status using logs or electronic systems
• Follow ESD protocols, FAA repair station regulations, and company quality procedures at all times
• Support continuous improvement efforts, lab organization, and general housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

What you need to qualify:

• Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
• 2+ years' experience as an Electronics Technician in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Electronic troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Soldering and reworking electronic components (IPC certification a plus)
• Using standard lab tools (scopes, DMMs, power supplies, analyzers)
• Building test harnesses, fixtures, and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with FAA Repair Station environments or AS9100/ISO quality systems is a plus
• Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality
• High-voltage safety awareness and willingness to follow lab protocols and PPE requirements
• Flexibility to work overtime or modified shifts as needed to support testing or urgent repair wor k
