Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven and creative Email & SMS Marketing Manager to lead and execute our lifecycle marketing efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to get in early with a rapidly growing company and work closely with the CEO to help shape the direction of our customer engagement strategy. You’ll take full ownership of our email and SMS marketing, playing a key role in driving customer retention, engagement, and revenue.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ (Monday through Friday).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all email and SMS marketing campaigns.
- Build, segment, and manage campaigns in Klaviyo and Attentive , ensuring strong deliverability and performance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, design team, e-commerce staff, and other marketing functions to execute high-impact campaigns.
- Analyze campaign data and customer behavior to improve KPIs such as open rates, CTR, and revenue per message.
- Leverage Shopify and other tools to enhance personalization and automation.
- Maintain compliance with email/SMS regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in email and SMS marketing, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Prior experience managing a team or direct reports is required.
- Proficiency in Klaviyo, Attentive, and Shopify is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Must be comfortable working in-office Monday through Friday in Old Town Scottsdale.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
