Donaldson & Weston, a well-established personal injury law firm with over 13 years of success and eight offices across Central and South Florida, is looking for an Entry-Level Legal Assistant to join our growing team!

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the legal field. In this role, you’ll support our intake and closing departments, helping onboard new clients and assist with finalizing settlements. You'll gain valuable experience in case handling from start to finish while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Intake Support:
Collect and input key details related to accident facts, injuries, treatment, and insurance information
Ensure all intake records are accurate and organized in the case management system
Set up claims with insurance companies
Request medical records and bills
Closing Support:
Assist with gathering final medical bills and lien documentation
Communicate with providers and insurance companies to confirm balances
Help draft and organize closing documents and settlement paperwork
Support the team in preparing final disbursements and client communications
Maintain internal tracking of case status and outstanding items

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Apple computers
