Primary Responsibilities

Review environmental assessment reports and work plans for accuracy and regulatory compliance
Oversee installation and startup of remediation systems, ensuring effective and compliant implementation
Monitor remediation system performance, operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
Manage procurement of remediation system materials and chemicals
Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
Prepare cost estimates for potential and existing environmental liabilities
Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates
Develop project scopes of work and budget estimates, particularly for engineering tasks
Supervise remediation activities conducted under Maryland’s Voluntary Cleanup Program

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
Proven ability to manage and maintain project budgets
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of environmental regulations
