Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Review environmental assessment reports and work plans for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Oversee installation and startup of remediation systems, ensuring effective and compliant implementation
- Monitor remediation system performance, operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Manage procurement of remediation system materials and chemicals
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
- Prepare cost estimates for potential and existing environmental liabilities
- Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates
- Develop project scopes of work and budget estimates, particularly for engineering tasks
- Supervise remediation activities conducted under Maryland’s Voluntary Cleanup Program
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage and maintain project budgets
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations
