Holiday Inn & Suites - Executive Housekeeper Manager

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Holiday Inn & Suites - Springfield Hospitality Inc. is seeking an Executive Housekeeper Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing organization, instruction, and guidance to members of the housekeeping staff. You will ensure the completion of daily objectives while maintaining the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department, scheduling employees to ensure proper coverage.
• Ensure all team members are properly trained and equipped with the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
• Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
• Monitor and control expenses, minimizing waste in all areas of housekeeping.
• Interview, select, and train housekeeping team members in proper work procedures and techniques.
• Supervise and monitor the work performance of team members by conducting room inspections.
• Provide coaching and counseling to team members and conduct performance reviews when needed.
• Maintain par levels for supplies and equipment, replenishing shortages and necessary supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings to review pertinent information on daily activities and ensure open communication amongst team members.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Attend various operational-related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
• Ensure all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards and assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
