About the Role

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer with strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical/industrial equipment and utilities. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of facility systems and manufacturing equipment in compliance with cGMP standards . This position supports reliability, continuous improvement, and safe operations across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, and water systems .
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and utilities.
• Operate and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms.
• Perform carpentry and facility upkeep (walls, doors, drywall, painting, etc.).
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports for deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and safety procedures .
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for calibration, utilities, and facility services.
• Document maintenance work accurately in SAP and other tracking systems.
• Participate in compliance and regulatory inspections .

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance in a pharmaceutical or industrial setting required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Pharmaceutical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment .
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, DI water, utilities, and facility systems .
• Experience with pharma machinery and utilities preferred.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, SOPs, and equipment manuals .
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, regulated environment .
