My client is a leading USA Common Core school serving a local population of students in the beautiful authentic Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.  Located only 45 minutes away from Dubai this small but growing Emirate is fast becoming a hot spot for local Emirati's and expats to live. With a low cost of living for a high-quality of life, why would you not consider living and working in Ras Al Khaimah. In fact, many that have visited RAK, that they fall in love with the environment and so the saying "once you got to RAK, you don't go BACK" applies.

I am looking for teachers that are qualified and experienced and prefer a more natural experience, away from fancy shopping malls. RAK offers authenticity coupled with modernisation. With commercial and residential properties on the rise, RAK gives you a more relaxed way of life, providing you with breathtaking beaches, the ability to scuba dive, jet ski, play golf, yoga, mountain climbing, cycliing etc. Like all emirates in the UAE, malls are also available to have a shopping experience but RAK is not like its neighbour Dubai where there are plenty of high rises. Here you will experience a more authentic Emirate with many palaces and more natural landscape.

The ideal candidate would have worked in the Middle East before have experience of deliving the USA Common Core and have experience of teaching non-native students. Interviews conducted are normally 45 minutes long and full information is provided to those that meet the criteria.

Salary Package

• TAX-FREE salary up to 14,000 AED per month (about £3200 per month -
• FREE single 1 bedrroom about 7 minutes’ drive from the school which is fully furnished (5 mins walk to supermarket) - Housing allowance of 2000k is an option (with no utility allowance)
• FREE utility allowance of 500 AED

The school has state of the art facilities and uses technology to enhance students learning. As a teacher joining this school you will also be required to teach online and so teachers must be Tech Savvy and ideally hae experience of using MS Teams, MS Office Suite and Interactive whiteboards.

Students are warm and friendly and keen to learn. You will find you have little or no bad behaviour in the school, however the children are very active and you will need to create and deliver highly engaging lessons to keep them busy!

Requirements To Apply

• A bachelors degree in line with what you teacher e.g. B.Ed in Early Childhood education or equivalent
• A valid state teaching license in Early Years or PGCE in Early Years with QTS/EYFS/EYPS
• Experience of Montessori is beneficial
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• Qualified from a recognised university
• EXCELLENT command of written and spoken English
• Up to date with modern pedagogy
• Experience of the USA Common Core is highly beneficial
• Able to adapt to the teaching culture in the United Arab Emirates
• Must have experience to teach online if needed - experience of MS Teams and MS Office suite is preferred

Teachers that do not have experience of the USA Common Core are welcome to apply, as training will be provided and the school already has teachers from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.  Candidates from other countries will need an IELTS level 7 academic to be considered as per the schools requirements.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 10000 up to 14000   AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
