They are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician. Must be willing to travel occasionally and have reliable transportation.

Experience Level Requirements:

ISP/OSP 3 + years with installation, splicing, termination, testing and troubleshooting; Single, Ribbon, and Pigtail splices...unicam termination, anaerobic termination, OTDR and power meter experience.

Must be willing to travel occasionally and have reliable transportation. Great benefits and great starting salary for proper candidate.

BICSI Certification and Active Government Clearance is a plus but not required.

Will require background check and drug screening

Required Qualifications

• General working knowledge of the installation of Structured Cabling Systems.
• General knowledge of building, fire, and electrical codes as they apply to structure cabling systems.
• Experience with working with fiber MM and SM
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, insurance and reliable transportation.
• Daily travel to job sites will be required and must have reliable transportation.
• Have the knowledge and skills on hand and power tools.
• Must maintain tools.
• Must have OSHA approved Boots.
• Can pass a background check and drug screen.
• Willing to travel out of state (30% or more)

Active Government Clearance is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
