Job Title: Field Safety Manager

Location: North Houston

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000

Day to Day

Preview project sites before work begins to identify and assess safety-related risks.
Conduct site visits on active projects to ensure ongoing compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with project management teams and field workers to implement solutions to safety issues.
Maintain safety documentation, including OSHA 300 logs and certification records.
Deliver training sessions on safe work practices for employees.
Enforce disciplinary measures for employees and subcontractors failing to comply with safety standards.

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Active listening skills with the ability to understand employee perspectives.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations relevant to construction activities.
Strong recordkeeping and organizational abilities.
Ability to access heights using ladders or scaffolding.
Knowledge of specific construction trades to effectively evaluate and advise on safety solutions.
OSHA OTI training certification preferred.
