Job Description

Full-Time | Onsite in downtown San Francisco, Monday–Friday

One of the most profitable and rapidly scaling health tech companies in San Francisco is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer to join its core innovation team. This is a rare opportunity to help redefine how patients access care, medications, and pricing transparency - with a company that’s already profitable ($360M+), not VC-backed, and growing fast with long-term stability and massive upside.

You’ll work in a disciplined, engineering-first environment and a team that values ownership, intensity, and big impact. This is not a “coast and collect” role - it’s for builders ready to ship fast, experiment boldly, and help shape the future of healthcare tech from the ground up.

The Role

As a Staff Frontend Engineer (Innovations), you’ll:

  • Lead the design and development of new web and mobile products (React, React Native, TypeScript).
  • Work closely with PMs, designers, and backend engineers to craft world-class user experiences.
  • Rapidly test and iterate on new product ideas that will define the company’s next growth phase.
  • Own architecture, mentor engineers, and elevate frontend standards company-wide.
  • Operate in a true startup environment—fast, collaborative, and high-ownership.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of frontend experience with React, React Native, and exposure to Kotlin/Swift.
  • Proven experience shipping scalable, high-performance web/mobile applications.
  • Strong with modern tooling (TypeScript, CI/CD, state management).
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments, value deep collaboration, and take pride in high-quality design.
  • Motivated by impact - and excited to be part of a product that directly improves lives.

Why Join

  • Extremely generous compensation of $250K–300K base + extensive equity
  • Comprehensive benefits: 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, unlimited PTO, daily meals, espresso bar
  • Already highly profitable - no VC constraints, disciplined long-term growth
  • Onsite Monday-Friday (9am–7pm) in a downtown SF HQ designed for deep work collaboration to meet the company vision and goals
  • Mission-driven impact: Your work directly improves healthcare access at scale
  • Elite team: Collaborate with brilliant peers from top tech, trading, and engineering backgrounds

If you’re a strong coder who is ready to join a rocket ship that’s transforming healthcare - and are energized by building, scaling, and owning at the highest level - I'd love to connect!
