Position Highlights
- Role: School-Based Physical Therapist
- Location: Pelham, NY
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Standard School Hours
- Setting: Public school district (Pre-K–12 population)
- Start Date: Fall 2025 – Full School Year
What You’ll Do
- Provide physical therapy services to students with various mobility and physical challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in team meetings
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- New York State Physical Therapist License
- School-based or pediatric experience (clinical rotations included)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with IEP development and school-based documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset
- Commitment to empowering students through mobility and movement
