This position is for an in-home care nurse, with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio, with individuals who are intellectually or developmentally disabled . Compensation (Hourly) : $35.00-$38.00/hr

Primary Responsibilities :

• Manage the healthcare plan for assigned patient according to physician's instructions
• Provide personalized care including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
• Check for signs of infection, bedsores, and wounds, and provide appropriate care
• Educate and advise caregivers in the household on patient care techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare personnel to develop and improve the patient's healthcare plan
• Provide palliative care as needed to ensure patient comfort and well-being

Knowledge and Experience :

• Understanding of nursing principles and practices
• Compassion and empathy for patients and their families
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Peg Tube/G-Tube Experience ( Required )
• Trach/Vent experience (Case-Dependent)

Requirements :

• CPR/BLS Certified ( Required )
• Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing ( Required )
