Position Summary:
We seek a proactive and experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to support a high-volume manufacturing facility. In this role, you will work alongside the Senior HR Manager, HR Coordinator, and HR Specialist to address employee relations matters, support union interactions, and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills, union experience, and the ability to manage complex employee situations calmly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR leadership to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage union-related matters, including handling grievances and ensuring consistent application of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and feedback; mediate conflict and provide resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with site leadership to implement HR best practices and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain employee records and assist with reporting as needed.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written communication)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in union interaction and grievance management
- Proven experience in employee relations, engagement, and investigations
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and calm
