Are you a seasoned HVAC project leader ready to take charge of high-impact commercial projects? We’re searching for an HVAC Project Manager (Commercial) to lead large-scale installations in office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail spaces, and more. This is a permanent direct-hire full-time on-site role for one of our clients. HVAC Certification required, STEAM License required.
📍 Denver, CO | 💼 $120K – $140K annually
In this role, you will:
• Lead and mentor an HVAC team to deliver top-quality projects
• Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers
• Ensure full compliance with codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Oversee procurement, cost tracking, and resource allocation
• Proven ability to order materials and equipment efficiently, with strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and vendor terms.
• Own the full project lifecycle — from kickoff through final inspection.
What you bring:
• HVAC Certification, required
• STEAM License, required
• 3+ years of solid HVAC project management experience (commercial preferred)
• 3 years of proven people management experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams, earning trust, and mentoring team members for growth and success
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects with excellent conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Colorado building codes, energy regulations & EPA standards
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
