Lead Dog Recruiting is assisting a medical device client in Irvine with a search for an Industrial Designer. In this role you will develop designs, develop 2D concept renderings for review, and develop test methods & conduct product/material/functionality tests of prototypes/ To be a qualified candidate, you must have:

Requirements:

UPDATE: Must have experience with soft goods (backpack, luggage, shoes, fashion, etc.) or similar that involved sewing

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Industrial Design
• 6+ years experience performing product design and development
• 4 years experience completing/managing projects
• Proficient in Rhino (2D)
• Proficient in SolidWorks (3D)
• 2D and 3D CAD experience
• Experience using Product Requirement Documents (PRD) as a guide for development
• Material and process knowledge: plastics, foam, intermediate cut and sew fabrication adn basic metal work
