The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates supports the Engineering team that has an opening for Industrial Engineer near Forest City, IA !

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-directed professional to provide analytical and Industrial Engineer support within our Distribution organization. This individual will be instrumental in measuring, interpreting, and reporting performance metrics, identifying operational improvement opportunities, and supporting the growth and efficiency of the distribution network. The role requires minimal supervision and a strong commitment to best practice sharing across teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in distribution, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
• Strong data analysis and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced Excel or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Support WMS functions, including labor management and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve distribution goals.
• Build staffing models and support planning for DC operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze distribution operations and report key performance metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the distribution network.
• Develop, document, and maintain best practices and labor standards.
• Manage and support initiatives related to labor management and performance incentives.
• Provide system support for WMS, including labor and slotting modules.
• Develop staffing models and assist in distribution network planning.

Additional Details:

Duration: 12 month- could potentially extend

Pay range: $28.00 - $31.00 /hour on W2

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
