Production Supervisor - Day Shift

Injection Molding Department

A high-quality local Manufacturing group is looking for an experienced Injection Molding professional to join their team and lead people on the manufacturing floor.

This position is open due to growth, and we expect more growth in the future because of sustained customer growth and a high reputation for making quality products and delivering them on time. Because of that, we are searching for someone who is willing and capable of joining our team and gathering increased leadership responsibilities as you demonstrate success. Someone who is a Supervisor or Production Leader now and wants to be a Production Manager in the near future would be an excellent candidate.

Molding Supervisor Responsibilities

• Supervisors manage all personnel, equipment, molds and machinery, and everything else in the Injection Molding department for your shift.
• Supervisors are responsible for training of all personnel in the Injection Molding department.
• Supervisors are very involved in the hiring of new employees in the Injection Molding department.
• Molding Department Supervisors are involved in the continuous improvement in your area.

Molding Supervisor Requirements

• Previous Injection Molding experience, including working knowledge of mold changes, processing, troubleshooting, and machine operation (you will be training Operators as part of this role)
• At least one year of previous Supervisory experience on the plant floor
• Great communication skills
• Desire to make a difference and the ability to hold people accountable to accomplish your goals.
