Job Title: Inventory Control Analyst
Location: On-site - Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm)
Pay Rate: $35-$37/hour
We are working with a client in the print production and custom displays space, based in Brooklyn, NYC. They're looking for an experienced Inventory Control Analyst to join their team. This is a 5-day on-site role, starting as a temporary position with strong potential to go permanent.
The ideal candidate will bring a background in inventory reconciliation, receiving, and materials management-someone comfortable digging into discrepancies, reviewing cycle counts, and investigating inventory issues in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Locate and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) on vendor websites for missing receipts
• 
  Create and maintain accurate item records in the inventory system
• 
  Review and post cycle counts, including logical analysis of any variances
• 
  Investigate inventory discrepancies and PO-related issues
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams (receiving, purchasing, operations) to ensure inventory accuracy
• 
  Identify and resolve valuation/inventory mismatches
• 
  Maintain clear and accurate documentation for internal reporting and audits
  

Qualifications:

• 
  2+ years of experience in inventory control, reconciliation, or materials/receiving operations
• 
  Proficiency in inventory systems (ERP experience strongly preferred)
• 
  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• 
  Detail-oriented with a methodical, investigative mindset
• 
  Solid understanding of inventory valuation and materials movement
• 
  Must be able to work fully on-site in Brooklyn, 5 days per week
  

Nice to Have:

• 
  Background in print production, display manufacturing, or related industries
• 
  Familiarity with cycle counting procedures and inventory root cause analysis
