Rentokil Boecker® IT Officer is held accountable for the below job responsibilities:
• Designing, implementing and providing oversight for an IT security architecture infrastructure and
strategy to meet Rentokil Boecker®’s regional information and data security requirements
• Responding to alerts and taking action to ensure availability of network services and associated
infrastructure
• Monitoring Network services (LAN/WAN) and liaising with network service providers to manage
and resolve WAN incidents and issues
• Providing an escalation point for support teams for operational issues
• Managing incidents using the company’s ITSM Framework and platform (ServiceNow)
• Regulating systems maintenance tasks (configuration, patching, policy compliance)
• Performing operational procedures including software & hardware configuration, installation and
maintenance
• Maintaining documentation for system configuration changes
• Configuring deploy and supporting Cisco, Aerohive, WAN technologies and a variety of other
network devices.
• Ensuring that there are no unauthorized assets such as unlicensed copies of software.
• Assessing proactively potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the company.
• Implementing security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to maintain the security of
networks and systems.
• Coordinating with service owners to develop improvement plans and ensuring compliance.
• Ensuring authorized access through periodic audits, reporting results with recommended
remediation.
• Developing security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs and ongoing
communication.
▪ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent degree.
▪ 3-5 years of experience in information technologies and systems analysis.
▪ Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities.
▪ Good awareness of network switching, routing, security and load balancing.
▪ Excellent attention to details.
▪ Strong Teamwork spirit.
