Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing company, and they are seeking a Logistics Specialist onsite in Greenville, NC on a full time, direct hire basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages Inbound shipment coordination with factory, broker, warehouse and 3PL.
· Coordinate with factory, broker, warehouse and 3PL on international inbound shipment to the distribution centers.
· Liaison between internal sales team, 3PL and customer from order to delivery.
· Manages outbound delivery, from overseas and distributions centers, to the customer in timely manner.
· Work with factory and broker to ensure timely and accurate Customs filing.
· Liaison between internal sales team, 3PL and customer from order to delivery.
· Perform timely and accurate transactions in SAP, including but not limit to order creation, PO receiving and inventory transactions.
· Tracks and maintains accurate shipment status report.
· Monitor and validate warehouse transactions vs. SAP records.
· Assist in cycle and physical count.
· Partners with the Finance team on operations and logistics aspects for month end closing and Inventory reconciliation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Education:
· Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field.
Experience:
· 4+ year of experience in Logistics/operations/supply chain or related experience
· Previous ERP experience a plus
· Must have experience working in the manufacturing industry
