Job Description
MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Technical Writer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Manufacturing Technical Writer, you will support the Process Industrialization team by creating documentation for manufacturing processes and industrial standards. This is an 18-month, fully onsite contract opportunity with the potential for direct hire.

Shift Information:
- Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- OR
- Associate degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 1 year of technical writing experience
- Willingness to work onsite in a manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to adjust schedule based on project timelines
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Machine Tool Technology
- Demonstrated examples of technical writing
- Experience applying lean manufacturing principles
- Effective communication skills across multiple organizational levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and proactive work approach
General Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with operators and engineers in a production setting
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment
Essential Functions:
- Create documentation outlining manufacturing processes (methods writing)
- Develop industrialization standards and best practices (standards writing)
- Collaborate with operators and engineers to document procedures
- Perform hands-on inspections and validate processes
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies and waste
- Apply lean principles to enhance quality and documentation
