REPORTS TO : Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION : In-person, Part-time (20 hrs/wk). Non-exempt.

ABOUT EAGLE RANCH: Eagle Ranch is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization located in Flowery Branch, Georgia, that takes a whole family approach to restoring and renewing relationships for children and families. Eagle Ranch was founded in 1985 and has served thousands of children and their families.  

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Eagle Ranch is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Part-Time Marketing Creative Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role will be instrumental in bringing the Eagle Ranch brand to life across various platforms, with a significant focus on visual design for events and marketing initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy and will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator, Creative Brand Manager, and collaboratively with the Outreach Coordinator on event-related branding and initiatives. While design and event support are primary responsibilities, this role will also contribute to our social media presence, extending our ministry to digital platforms.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Events & Design: 75%

· Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy, Marketing Coordinator, and Creative Brand Manager to develop visual branding strategies for Eagle Ranch events and marketing campaigns.

· Design and produce visually appealing marketing materials for events, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, social media graphics, website visuals, signage, and email templates, utilizing Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Ensure all marketing materials adhere to Eagle Ranch's brand guidelines.

· Contribute creative ideas and support the team in brainstorming innovative design concepts.

· Assist in implementing Marketing and Events related tasks.

· Work collaboratively with the Outreach Coordinator to ensure event branding aligns with development goals.

· See projects through from conception to completion with meticulous attention to detail.

· Attend and assist Eagle Ranch events outside of traditional work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Social Media: 25%

· Support the implementation of Eagle Ranch's social media strategy by assisting in content gathering and creating visually engaging social media posts and stories across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Affirms and exhibits a life in line with Eagle Ranch’s Statement of Faith.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or experience in a related field preferred.

· Proven experience in graphic design and creating visual content for marketing purposes (portfolio required).

· Strong proficiency in graphic design principles and experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

· Experience with Asana (our project management tool) and Buffer (our social media management tool) preferred.

· Experience with and knowledge of content creation (photography, videography), podcast management and the StoryBrand Framework preferred.

· Flexible schedule that can accommodate required attendance at occasional evening or weekend hours to support events.
