Position: Medical Transcriptionist
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM PST (100% Onsite, 8 hours/day)
Pay: $28/hr
Duration: 3-month contract with potential to extend
Dress Code: Business casual
Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe dictation into final pathology reports
• Format surgical pathology reports from requisition forms and diagnoses
• Ensure documentation accuracy and follow up on missing info
• Manage consultation reports and specialized testing documentation
• Apply medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records
• Perform additional lab or administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• 5+ years of transcription experience, preferably in Pathology
• Proficiency in Winscribe Dictation and CERNER
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
