About the Role

We are currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for an Urgent opening in Solomons, MD . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient outcomes and providing quality rehabilitative care across both skilled nursing and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions to help patients regain independence and functional skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians.
• Document progress notes, evaluations, and treatment plans in accordance with state and facility standards.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and home care strategies.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations (Medicare A and facility-specific requirements).

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience in Skilled Nursing (SNC) or Outpatient settings preferred.
• New graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
