Position Overview

The Operations Manager manages and physically supports warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and e-commerce order fulfillment. This role works side-by-side with a small team to ensure orders are packed and shipped accurately, inventory is properly tracked, and logistics run smoothly. The Operations Manager plays a key role in improving systems and workflows as we grow.

This position is based in Fresno, California and requires working on-site at our Fresno facility on a daily basis. No relocation assistance is expected to be provided for this role and we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with a hands-on approach the warehouse floor activities: receiving shipments, picking/packing orders, staging pallets, labeling products, etc.
• Ensure e-commerce and wholesale (B2B) orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, scanners, and label printers as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts using the ERP system and process.
• Manage the process and occasionally perform routine cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Ensure storage areas are organized, and all warehouse staff follows process to ensure clear labeling, accessibility, and stock rotation.
• Set the pace and tone for a small warehouse team — lead by example with a strong work ethic, always be willing to pitch in and to understand current process and evaluating process improvement.
• Train team members on procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements to increase throughput.
• Manage daily online order flow from platforms like Shopify and Amazon.
• Troubleshoot order or shipping issues and coordinate with procurement and customer service to resolve problems.
• Partner closely with Production, Quality Assurance and other plant functions to ensure alignment to company goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics roles (small team or startup environment ideal).
• Comfortable doing physical work daily (lifting boxes, operating equipment, standing for long periods).
• Experience using shipping software and basic inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you care about accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience managing a small team is a plus, but leadership through action is most important.
• Forklift certification or equipment experience is a plus (or willingness to get certified).
• Experience using an ERP system. (NetSuite experience is strongly preferred, in addition to experience with RF-Smart)

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
