Job Description

Our client is looking to fill the role of Packaging Operator. This position will be located on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are met and cGMP compliance is maintained during machine operations.
  • Take initiative to set the slat pattern and operate the filling machine efficiently at the designated speed.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble the Slat Filler machine as required.
  • Load and operate the MGS Topserter efficiently at the required production speed.
  • Change labels and operate the Labeler efficiently, maintaining required output speeds.
  • Promptly report any equipment issues to the Line Leader or Maintenance team to support optimal line performance.
  • Complete all Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training through Veeva successfully.
  • Pack and scan finished products in accordance with serialization compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support a productive and cooperative work environment.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve departmental objectives and performance goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; or a minimum of 6 months of relevant manufacturing experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred.
  • Adequate reading and writing skills to follow instructions and complete documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Capable of applying practical judgment to follow specific instructions for various packaging processes.
