Job Description

Job Summary/Objective:

Identifies, engages, and attracts ENT physicians to Elevate who share a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Builds talent pipeline and cultivates strong relationships with medical schools and residency programs to prepare for future growth. Collaborates with Elevate physicians to attend school residency meetings and engagements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Builds and utilizes an extensive network and industry knowledge to identify potential candidates through various channels, including medical school residency programs, hospitals, job boards, professional associations and social media.
  • Collaborates with educational institutions and creates relationships with medical schools and residency programs.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with physicians, both experienced practitioners and recent graduates, to understand their career goals and aspirations.
  • Attends industry conferences and school events to connect with potential candidates, stays updated on the latest trends, and promotes Elevate ENT Partners as a desirable employer.
  • Conducts interviews and assesses candidates to ensure they align with our values, culture, and commitment to patient care.
  • Maintains candidate database to document open roles, interviews scheduled, and appointments with physicians.
  • Directs, organizes and coordinates all aspects of candidate itineraries, agendas and site visits including: travel and hotel reservations, clinic, hospital and community tours, appointments with physicians, lunch/dinner reservations. May escort candidates through their interviews and visits.
  • Facilitates the negotiation and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new physicians joining our team, which includes communication and coordination of all onboarding departments (credentialing, marketing, IT, HR, etc.)
  • Participates in New Physician Orientation.
  • Provides continued assistance to new hire physicians in becoming acclimated to the community during their transition/relocation. Contacts new hires after 30 and 60 days to determine satisfaction with the process and assess opportunities for improvement.

This role has no supervisory duties assigned.

Travel

Willing and able to travel frequently based on recruitment needs.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business, Psychology or other related area.
  2. Three to five years of experience in physician recruitment and interviewing is required.
  3. Business Development / Sales experience preferred with proven ability to “sell” the organization’s growth and value proposition.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting techniques, including Physician Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and social media recruiting
  5. Must be a self-starter who understands what needs to be done and figures out how to complete the mission.
