Job Description
A growing private equity platform focused on partnering with independent sponsors and emerging managers is seeking a Vice President to join its Cleveland office. This is a unique investment role offering broad exposure across deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio company value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, underwriting, and financing processes.
- Develop and present investment committee materials.
- Build deep relationships with independent sponsors and emerging managers to source new investments.
- Support negotiation, structuring, and documentation of new platform and add-on acquisitions.
- Collaborate with management teams and partners on operational and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a board member and assist with exit strategies and monetization processes.
- Mentor junior professionals and contribute to firm culture and talent development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct experience in private equity investing
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead complex processes and build meaningful relationships.
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred but not necessary.
- Experience in tech-enabled or services sectors is a plus.
