Sheetmetal Project Manager Position Overview The Sheetmetal Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sheet metal projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, and project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage sheet metal projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with engineers and clients to develop project specifications and design plans.
- Oversee the fabrication and installation processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, plans, and change orders.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Project Manager in the sheet metal or HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and HVAC systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
