Job Description
JL Partners is looking for a Project Manager with experience leading construction sites for water/wastewater infrastructure, including earthwork, concrete work, mechanical, process equipment, and managing subcontractor trades. Self-perform experience is a must.
- Overall responsibility for the success of the project and the project teams.
- Planning and execution of day-to-day project operations.
- Purchase, procure, and manage Vendor materials and Subcontractor work packages.
- Manage and maintain positive relationships with Subcontractors and Vendors.
- Training, development, and mentoring of Project Engineers, Co-ops, and Interns.
- Support the Project Team in other tasks as assigned.
- Responsibility for achieving project goals, including safety, quality, schedule, profitability, and customer relationships.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Construction) or BS in Construction Management
- Experience working successfully in teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Water Infrastructure Construction project work.
- Ability to work onsite at the jobsite location daily, with occasional travel to other locations for training, meetings, conferences, or other work-related activities.
