Job Description
We are currently seeking a detailed-oriented and proactive Project Safety Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our worksites remain compliant, safe, and aligned with all applicable regulations and company safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication and a passion for promoting a culture of safety.
Position Requirements:
- (7) years of safety experience (must have been only dedicated to building construction for a General Contractor).
- The last (5) of those years have to be specifically safety management
- Or
- a 4 year degree plan degree with (3) years experience.
- Must have worked for a General Contractor ( General Industry or Specialty Contractor Safety Experience will not be considered )
- Must have continued education in all of the following (within 5 years)
- Fall protection
- scaffold
- Excavation / trench
- Confined space
- Crane operation
- Electrical safety
- Incident investigation
- Industrial hygiene for construction
- Fire protection and prevention
- Lockout / tagout
- Basic crane rigging
- Respiratory protection
- OSHA 500 trainer course for construction or OSHA 502
- In person training for the following in the past (2) years: Emergency First Aid, CPR, AED
